'Handcuffed by policy': Fire crews watch man die
Wed Jun 1, 2011
Total BS. If its too shallow for a boat, they could wade in and grab him. What? He might be violent? What difference does that make on land or on water. They should bring these guys up on charges. This is ridiculous.
Health care -- one year later
Wed Mar 23, 2011
All I know is that our company insurance policy will no longer be available from Empire BCBS for next year (starts May 1) and that the new plan they are proposing has higher co-pays for everything and costs 15% more! How are we supposed to afford this as a small business barely keeping our heads …
Vegetarian throws airline meal at flight attendant
Mon Mar 21, 2011
Ordered a gluten free meal for a business partner when we were traveling NY to LA business class. Meal had a cookie in it that had flour in it. Maybe not so much a veggie, but when people are paying $1000-2000 for a ticket and they screw up the meal, people get pissed.

Clear customers again must wait with the pack
Tue Jun 23, 2009
The problem was that the service was based on business travelers and most of them have elite status on their airlines and already have the same priviledges. I had a clear card for 2 years and never used it (AA Platinum). The plan was flawed from the start.
GM delays Volt engine factory
Wed Dec 17, 2008
They need to wake up on a lot of fronts. I run a business that runs about 50 vehicles. Gasoline costs are a HUGE deal to us. We now have 5 Escape Hybrids and 2 Prius'. Light and Med duty trucks make up about 30 of the 50 and I have ZERO options for fuel …
Should Congress allow GM to file for bankruptcy?
Wed Nov 19, 2008
GM, Ford and Chrysler don't listen to the customers. They give us crap product and don't change with the times. I own a company with a commercial fleet of over 50 vehicles. Last year after Ford failed to support us after a systemic failure of diesel fuel tanks in their …
As Congress moves closer to a deal on the $700 billion bailout plan, do you think lawmakers should approve it?
Thu Sep 25, 2008
Don't forget all of us that passed economics, bought a house we can afford, pay our mortgage instead of wasted spending, and work our @$$ off to make ends meet.
